Itinerary · Pick-up at the hotel in open jeeps. · Travel for 90 minutes through the neighborhoods of Botafogo, Laranjeiras and Santa Teresa, Dona Marta View and Christ Statue. · 1 hour to visit the Christ Statue. Return by the Tijuca National Park, stopping for 10 minutes in the Chinese View, followed by the neighborhood of the Botanical Garden, Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon and coastline.
Description The neighborhoods of Botafogo, Laranjeiras and Santa Teresa are residential architectural features that keep the early twentieth century. Santa Teresa has a special charm with its cobbled streets where the last cable car travels in Brazil. The Dona Marta View, in the midst of the Tijuca Forest, one sees the Guanabara Bay, the Corcovado and Sugar Loaf. The Corcovado was so named because its shape, like a hump (hump).
